yes there is the same "Common (European) Cuckoo" (migrant), but you have them only in the North East of South Africa and further North
arrived 3 weeks ago at my little pond...
today only heard, I think 2 of them... well hidden
and very similar to the African Cuckoo (but no-migrant as per the Sasol)
