The koot looks different without its red bobble alice band.. ;-)

The swans in flight is super - it looks like one swan that is duplicated to follow the flight.. \O

A new one for me is the fieldfare - does it have the size of a dove ?
the Fieldfare, yes almost the size of a Dove, a little bit bigger than a Black Bird
the Swans did so much noise passing above my head... I was a bit scared -O
We have too a Koot with red, but never saw 0*\
thank you Amoli

thank you pooky, the Rail is very difficult to see (it heard click-clack of the camera) and has a tiny black chick... that I can't have a picture -O- maybe next time

What a lot of nice birdies you saw, Nan. The rail is great and I have never seen a grebe actually catch a fish -O -O \O

You really get some nice bird species down there, nan.
At the moment I work a lot with my bird book and often I see that
species occur in your region (read southern Europe) but would never
be seen in my part of the world. (0!)

Really enjoying your outings! \O
