Almost all pics need a slight correction in order to make it look a bit better, if only more light if taken in the shadow or a bit more contrast. A pic is never like the eye sees the subject as it is not three dimensional, so we try and do what we can ;-) I do not have PS either and only use the software that went with the camera.

the second is like a painting and has something more artistic, like you said :yes:

I like the first one better also, but they are both striking photos, composition-wise. :yes:

15 photo's stitched together using a tamron 15-30mm f2.8 lens at ISO 3200 speed 1/22 at F2.8

How long, generally, does it take to produce the panoramas or stacked photos? It is just software that does most of the work, or is there a lot of manipulation the person has to perform/learn? Thanks for the info.

It is normally the program that stiches the photo and then balances the light through out the stich, problem is if you have a lot to stich you need a lot of memory depending on each file size that will determine the amount of time it takes, you can then add contrast, saturation and what ever after the stich is complete. You can manipulate if you want . \O
