I did this this evening from my latest Kruger trip and instead of doing Shadows & Highlights as one of my workflow processes I did a 10% HDR toning option to bring the light up to what it was at the time 30 secs before actual sunrise ..You need a click to get the true effect of what I did ..Love the grey clay soil typical of the East basalt Plains in Kruger ..where Grootvlei Dam lies The Gray really makes the lioness pop whereas you wont get that with a lion on a yellowish dry river bed for example ..this background made the shot as well as the best 5 minutes in a 24 hour day for light conditions..by the time she reached the waters edge 30 metres in front of her the sun just caught her as she crouched down to drink ..bright light with no shadows ...= PERFECT timing on the lionesses part

While we're on the subject of artsy photography, I really loved this genre you posted, Flutts. Any recent compositions? I believe it was at a Crocodile Bridge bungalow that we stayed in that had a similar piece of art (???), but it was quite striking, as are your.

More please ^Q^ ^Q^

-O- -O- The pic doesn't show but it's from pg. 27 - can one of you fix it for me :o0ps: :o0ps: :-? :-?
