Yes sad Mel but the fires are under control now...well except in Cape Point. Great pic PRWIN....but intrigue in the new techs..pls fill us in :)

Michele Nel: it is to do with long exposure, focus stacking, photo stacking ,photo stitching, photo bracketing and layer stacking to get one image, all done in PS , looking at between 50 and 140 photo's per image

Unfortunately Photobucket doesn't do them justice.
Recently I have been seeing a lot of articles about shooting landscapes with "telephoto" lenses. Normally the writers are talking about the range from 70 to 150mm, which to me isn't really telephoto yet.
Here's one shot at 500mm:
