Thanks Lisbeth and Dewi.. :-)
@ Dewi......I am new to this " long exposure stuff"..well with sunset pics that is. I have recently acquired a ND filter and I have decided it is quite a nice little thing to have !!! :-)

Is that filter "thing", what makes the pics look more natural? Normally sunsets and sunrises look all wrong in the photos!

There are many kinds of filters Lisbeth... neutral density graduated filters, neutral density filters and polarising filters.
They can all play a role in getting a better sunset/sunset photograph. Many of the effects can be applied in photoshop as well.
Basically a neutral density filter prevents light from entering the lens and therefore slows down the shutter speed ...which in turn will show motion in the water....the slower the shutter speed the more milky the water becomes.
I used the ND filter on the second photo only...the other three photos were taken without the filter.

They look all right to me, even without filter ;-) I do not normally like the colours of the sunset/sunrise pictures, because they are not natural and far too exaggerated, but yours look all nice......maybe because the sun is very low \O
