Pretoriuskop was the first camp that we were ever priviledged to visit,we now visit Kruger every year and we always stop over at Pretoriuskop. We sometimes camp or just book into the huts. When we were in Kruger in Dec 2012, we discovered the new Pretoriuskop Day Visitors Picnic Area, we had breakfast there 3 times and on all 3 occassions we were the only people there, the FEMALE staff were on the ball, when we asked for hot water we were served hot water in teapots. The picnic site is still under construction but it was clean, well run and very pleasant. Will be back in Dec 2013

Plenty of pics but would not know the first thing about posting them on the forum. If somebody could give me some easy, simple instructions, just remembering I know almost nothing about computers then I am sure I could post some 0*\ 0*\

I have to admit I am not a fan of this camp.
Haven't stayed here for a long time, but I have found the drives in the area to be poor. Same old complaint - tall grass, and general game seems to be scarce.

I think if you just want relax and are''nt bothered to see alot of sightings, this might be a good camp to stay at \O , I camped there twice and had average sightings \O . Best sighting 7 White Rhinos and 2 Blackies O/\

I enjoyed a 4 night stay here recently . The grass was long . so game viewing was difficult , but the camp was well maintained and thankfully wonderfully quiet as the tar road to Skukuza was closed due to flood damage below Transport dam .

Pretoriuskop is not one of my favorite camps in Kruger, but its a thousand times better than being here in Jozi O/\
