Please folks, I have a problem here,...

This pond or waterhole for what it's worth cannot be classed
a natural waterhole!!! It was created!!, the plastic pipe, leaking
all the way down a man made water source,.......

One may notice that beyond the pond, the landscape falls downward,
meaning it was created to support the hide!! , that being a attraction!!

Right behind that hide and 50 metres if so, a French drain facility and
soak away pit, upland from the so called waterhole!!,.. Forever under
maintenance,...further south are the actual water reticulation works!

The plastic pipe, I stood upon, merely a mechanical supportive action
to support the hole,...

Before leaving the Sanparks forum I raised a question too the effect
about the smell of diesel fumes emanating from this so called water
source!! I should have been slightly brighter in my uptake but what the
hell, me on a break in wonderland, why look for trouble!!

Punda M. still remains a unique experience and beautiful experience
with all it's shortcoming,..

H.E. I queried this with the camp-manager after noticing that the water sprinklers on the lawns never ever stops . It appears that at some stage , Punda's underground diesel tank sprung a leak , and had to be replaced . However , they then discovered that their borehole had been contaminated , so they had to drill a new borehole to supply the camp with water .
So , they decided to use that water in any event for the gardens , and , of course to supply the " waterhole " in front of the hide .
