SANParks have started the process of developing the Klein Mooimaak site in the West Coast National Park as a rest camp. Klein Mooimaak is the beach below and on the far side of the lookout point at Zeeberg. The Kleinmooimaak rest camp will include the construction of 15 accommodation units, 20 camping and caravan sites, bulk services (water, sewer, electricity) and internal roads. The Kraalbaai day visitors’ site will include the construction of an office, staff accommodation, day visitors’ ablution and the upgrade of parking. The site is on the eastern shore of the lagoon. Another step towards comercialisation of the parks
