Having read and re-read and then read this thread again I am kind of confused. First of all I wanted a arrange a meet for 22.12.2013 when I learned that R.P and his clan were going to be there. For some unknown reason I then went and cancelled it after a few Wildies had shown an interest in attending.

However it turned out that the meet was still on and I omitted to advise the Wildies. :o0ps: :o0ps: :o0ps:

My apologies to all those Wildies who would like to have attended. Me thinks we could have had quite a big turnout.

It was indeed a pleasure to meet R.P's family and H.E., who tended to show far more sanity than the man himself. ;-) ;-) ;-)

I also need to clarify that at no stage was I irritated and went off on my own. After the braai I said my farewells to everybody as I had to head home as Joan was going to work. I had no idea that everybody was going to meet at Marais Dam hide. -O- -O- -O-

The only decent photo I got was of this European Honey Buzzard. This raptor does not appear in Roberts so a mite on Friends of Rietvlei advised what it was. Please correct me if it is not the E.H.B.

To R.P and all his family, thank you so much for the hospitality shown to me. It was a fantastic day.
