It worked very well
Just doing the Devil's lawyer..... I would never lay out the wood like that, rather built it up with first layer in one sense and the next in the other sense in order to make the air pass between the layers

I used to make it in small dices and lots of onions on rye bread. Not very healthy but very yummi

The SO had a few of her work colleagues over for a braai yesterday evening
Ended up using a whole 10kg bag of Olive wood.
