Awesome and colourful bird shots, Flutterby,
and then all the nyala and other antelopes
Only have been at Mkuze once but I will never forget the many nyalas we saw there and at the pans the birdies so glad that you decided to visit that little park

I was hoping for lots of birds and I found them!nan wrote:wow, what a superb variety of birds

Thanks Lis. That hut was the last in the row, but they aren't too close to each other, and they are placed so no-one overlooks you.Lisbeth wrote:Great bird pics

Welcome Gump! No fences are great but it does mean you have to be constantly on your guard!General Gump wrote:Great birding ! Bit more freedom in kzn parks.

Ha, ha...they gave me a good laugh!! All the walkways are basically falling apart with gaping holes in them, so no protection there!General Gump wrote:Did you enjoy the walks to the hides , Flutterby ?
At kuMasinga hide we found this sign which gave me a giggle, and then you have to walk about 100 metres in open bush before you even get to the broken walkway!!

It's to hope that the sign is telling truth. The position of the sign make you doubt though
