Thank you all, once again. :ty:

It is now really dry and the weather is slowly changing. Lot's of the normal August winds, which changes the weather on a daily basis.

This first shot is from my stoep, looking to the other side of the river. Elephants are becoming a problem for some people, as they destroy water tanks, pipes and gardens in search of food and water. This is what it looks like across the river...

This next little one really tested my patience. It sat dead still deep in a bush, but I waited until it moved. It then perched on a branch right next to me, in the open. Not often that you get to have a Golden-breasted Bunting so close, in clear view...

Everything seemed relaxed today, even this Zebra didn't bother moving when I stopped next to it...

The veld really looks very dry. The rain must come early this year
