Please note that there is also a Part 2 amendment in process, which entails a more detailed amendment to the EA. A draft Report will be forwarded in this regard.

The Last bit of true Wilderness in Kruger with Zero Tourist Roads in it >> where Mafunyane lived and the place where I delivered a puppy to Don English in 1989 when he was Ranger for Shangoni Section. Now its going to be a Taxi thoroghfare >> >> NOT NEEDED as there is Phalaborwa Gate and Punda Gate .. No sence of Place at ALL!!

Well it was told that The Shangoni Gate was proposed for the Greater Giyani Municipality for as we know that we have phafuri and Phunda Maria Gates for The musicipality Collins chabane , so we are having issues with people trying to pull the proposed gate to Ultein Village with fall under Collins Chabane , Are we going to be that stupid as a municipality to let what belong to us go, Hell Noo.
It's will take decades and decade for us to be approved for another proposed gate , so pls , Collolins Chabane , step away , let Giyani deal with their Cow .

The question here is whether it is worthwhile making any new gate and development at all. The money that is promised comes from central government, and is a waste in our opinion, for a pointless project. Read further back over the topic and you will see it is mentioned every election year only to get votes.

Shangoni Section is the Last true Wilderness area of Kruger. The Shangoni Section has NO Tourist Roads . By having a tar Road from thae Farm Gate of Shangoni to Redrocks will spoil the untouched 35 km section of the Shingwedzi River FOREVER.. The Funny thing will be that this area has all the WILD LARGE Breeding herds of Ellie there (The Reason in the past for no Tourist Roads ) Imagine being Chased by a herd of 500 plus Ellies < I was delivering a puppy to Don English the then Section Ranger of Shangoni. It will be GREAT sports to see these herds sort out speeding taxis >> No Use Phalaborwa Gate , and Punda Gate as Commercial Hubs and CLOSE Pafuri Gate into Moz to stop all the Rust Bucket Speeding past Klopperfontein and tthe Road Kill piles along that route each morning after all the unauthorised (Or is it???) traffic at night in and out of Punda Gate >> End of Rant
