hell, they have big ears!

Wonder what that den smells like....

Funny they don't leave an adult babysitter behind, Deli...low predator density there? :-?

What a great start to your Report! ^Q^ ^Q^ ^Q^

Thanks for your comments Nan, Lis, Mel, Harrys, Flutt's, Alf & RP. \O X#X

Nan - lol More boring pups to come in a bit. ;-)

Lis - We drove South from Maun, through Rakops, Mopipi & Orapi on the way to Serowe & then on to Gaberone after a night in Khama Rhino Sanctuary. \O

Mel - Lots more excitement to come. \O

Harrys - They were just a bit special to see. \O

Flutt's - Very, very cute. \O

Alf - X#X

RP - The den smells. A lot. lol There was a babysitter watching closely from under a nearby bush. \O There was a pride of lions in the area. They passed through our campsite that night. Glad you liked the start. I'd better warn you that I have hundreds of vulture pics to post and even more elephants. O/\

I wanted to return to SA on that road, but there is not even one place to overnight 0*\ So we'll have to do the Nata road also returning.

The pups continued with their antics.

Image

This was a real treat to see and we were grinning from ear to ear watching them.

Image

The shocked expression on this ones face was hillarious!

Image

And you could see the quizzical looks if they saw something they were not sure of.

Image

A spot of stick chewing was called for.

Image

And a good sniff to see who had been there earlier.

Image

Sadly, sightings like this must end, so we said goodbye to the gang and headed back to camp to set up for our last night in the wilds.

The view from my camp chair.

This was the night of the dogs hunting through camp. Twice! I took a couple of pics of the sunset and we both sat out late into the night contemplating what we had seen and experienced.

We both agreed that it had been a fantastic trip, one of the best. We eventually crawled into our tents to the sounds of lions roaring nearby and hyaenas giggling around the campsite. We had an early start in the morning and a very, very long drive ahead.
