Admin, please move to correct thread if needed.

We were invited to my brothers 80th birthday in Durban so we decided to go but take a break of two nights on the way down and one night on the way back home. We stayed at The Sandford Lodge Country Hotel just outside Bergville. The Hotel is 150 years old and steeped in Boer War history. The folk were friendly and the food fantastic. Who needs a TV in your room when one can get views like these from your balcony.

It was so nice to wake up in the morning and hear a thunderstorm rolling in.

A drive out in the country produced this lonely Jacaranda tree.

An sunset shot again with the sky on fire.
