Update: Timbi and Care for Wild

Post by Richprins »

For new members, Africa Wild did a marvelous job of fundraising a few years ago, for the Care for Wld rhino orphanage down here, with the first baby, Timbi being adopted by us, sort of. Spotted Genet did a print, which went onto a t-shirt range ran by our founder, iNdlovu, and we made about a quarter of a million for the centre, with Liberty Life doing most of the work! \O

It was great fun, and the old records, bank statements etc. are archived.

Anyway, a revisit today.

The bomas are obviously where the orphans, most from Kruger, are raised. It is incredibly professional, and Petronel, the owner is probably the world leader in this field, IMO!

Timbi was tanning on the beach during our visit.... 0*\ lol

Water Monitor, son of SG, was a little boy when he met Timbi way back, so it was the turn of his brother this time!
