Without trying to causing alarm.
Please see below.

This is from a national security forum confirming safty and security pertaining to travel too and from the KNP.
Please check which gates you wish to use if they are open and sage before traveling.
As received
Attention : To all young lions of Bush South
Please kindly note that there's an urgent protest action which is planned as follows
Date :21 /11 /2022
Venue : All routes leading to Phabeni and Kruger Gates
We demand the following
1. The Ntirhisano Community has been watching with dismay as the Kruger National Park Community Facilitators practice the elements of gate keeping within its community
2. They're trying to impose their interests to the ward Cllrs of Bush South and its Traditional Leaders ( Tribal Authorities ) to achieve their own selfish interests
3. They are doing their own delay tactics as a way of them wanting to continue with nepotism and all that is happening at the expense of our community which is adversely affected by poverty
Young lions please note that as we speak these people are busy hiring people our question is who's representing us???
There's nothing about us without us
NB.
In light of the above we therefore demand that all the KNP Community Facilitators and their Chairperson be relieved off their duties with immediate effect
We also demand a smooth handover to our newly elected structure of Ntirhisano Forum Executive
We also demand that the newly elected leadership of the Forum be orientated within 5 working days so that they can commencement with their duties that which they are elected for
MAQABANE PLEASE NOTE : KRUGER NATIONAL PARK BELONGS TO THE PEOPLE NOT ONLY CERTAIN INDIVIDUALS, HELEN METHI, SOLLY THEMBA AND JEREMIAH Machavi.
All routes leading to the park will be closed until our demands are met.
I thank you Maqabane
Aluta Continually ✊✊✊

A criminal enterprise, these "young lions". It is all about politics and gaining access to funds, they don't give a damn about the economic consequences for the communities. That said, where there is smoke there is fire, and Kruger favours hiring politically connected individuals like any other state-owned enterprise.

Guests are hereby informed that the R536 Kruger gate road is un accessible at Cork Village. The road has been barricaded by the Cork community. The community is protesting regarding service delivery.
Guests are advised to use alternative gates such as Phabeni to exit and enter the park, until such time that we receive an update.

Protestors block Kruger National Park gate

Updated April 3, 2024, 10:44 a.m. | By Princess Mahogo

The Department of Community Safety in Mpumalanga has warned motorists who intend to travel to Kruger National Park to make use of the Phabeni Gate.

The department’s spokesperson, Moeti Mmusi, says disgruntled community members blocked the R536 leading up to Kruger Gate on Wednesday morning.

It is reported that they are protesting against poor service delivery and have used large piles of sand to block the road.

Recently, the same community barricaded the same road, demanding the upgrading of the D4382 gravel road, which links nearby villages.

“The police are keeping a close eye on the situation to make sure that the road is opened as soon as possible. We are, however, condemning this in the strongest possible terms, and we appeal to communities to be very vigilant when they approach the affected area,” said Mmusi.

No arrests have been made.

⚠️Road Update⚠️
The R536 road is now completely opened at Cork Village. The sand piles have been cleared off the road and guests can now use the road to exit and enter the park.
