Ja that's fine, Lis! Plenty weather data comes from Kruger, and less chance of it getting stolen! \O

O** Yes I recon it is probably a good development given the number of floods and damage (plus the climate change) over the last few decades maybe now they will be a little better prepared and as R.P. Says it should be fairly secure from human vandals ...

Do you really think that this will help to predict floods and other disasters?

 as long as it is working properly and maintained O** - it will assist them to monitor various weather formations these would include not just the major Hurricanes that occur but there has been allot of severe weather event locally such as damaging hail storms ,sever lightning storms etc .Early warning may assist some to take cover and be prepared . I had personal experiance of a sever storm earlier this year when working in the area getting stuck on the wrong side of flooded bridges on the way to the airport and am sure the farmers ,air transport and industries would benefit from it.

If this is the case then they had better get a professional meteorologist, if not it is no good.
