It is quite unnerving being so close to them on foot....the fence is flimsy and I doubt that the electricity works...

But no problems really, and eventually they moved on!
The fence actually stops there to let a stream through anyway...
Quite a fun experience, although we were a bit tired of ellies having watched them for hours in Kruger the day before!

There was another at a bit of fence that looked more sturdy! Quite a few locals arrived to have a look!
On the way home these 3 helmetshrikes were at last sitting still!
And a giraffe fleeing in terror!

Back at home this pretty ant on the Devil's Flowers!
And the wild pear there in flower, they only do that for a little while in late winter...the rest of the year it is nondescript.
Sorry for the short episode...the photos are finished for this visit and we went home!
