Re: There are no Kangaroos Down Under!?
Say what?! A trip to Oz and you didn't call in? ;-) If u didn't see kangaroos (I will keep with the TT to see how that pans out!) then you definitely should have dropped by - they hop around the place here all the time. \O Bring on the birdies and the other wildlife and stuff - nice to see ...

Re: SANParks vehicle goes off bridge
According to someone who is stationed in the Park the Vuswa Manager told her about the incident on Saturday morning and that it was a vehicle travelling from Mopani to take somebody to the clinic or hospital!!!! One would assume that all Sanparks vehicles are equipped with radios and it is somewhat ...

Re: Nossob Hide
Just returned from 17 days in KTP. Awesome trip although sightings a bit hard to come by with a few gems interspersed with long periods of.....boks, boks and beests. :-) Am perturbed to see these developments planned when the existing assets are so poorly maintained and serviced. For example: Mata ...

Re: Augrabies Falls National Park
Just home from a trip to Augrabies and KTP. So glad we included Augrabies on our itinerary. The landscape and scenery and geology were so much more dramatic and interesting than I expected. Also, I can happily say that the camp was in excellent shape as far as we could tell. Our chalet was spotless ...

Re: Tuskers of Kruger Discussions & Identification
Aat, I was just looking back over a few pages here and saw your explanation about the 'grass notch' on some tusks. This was something I had not known about at all and when someone is able to give me a wonderful piece of new knowledge about the wildlife we love...well that is really appreciated. So ...

Re: Years of visits to this diverse place
Not sure where your photo is -O- Is it in the north...Kunene? We have been to Namibia a few time but still have much to see. We hope to spend more time in Damaraland and of course return to Etosha which holds fond memories for us. Would love to see any Damaraland pics if you have spent time in the ...

Re: Tuskers of Kruger Discussions & Identification
Thanks for that extra info and context Aat. I don't think for one moment any person on this forum or indeed the other or anywhere else, thought that your work was anything other than the altruistic intention to bring together information on these magnificent animals for the benefit of all and that ...
