Girivana Tusker Kruger National Park

August 2011 We were on our way to Orpen and wanted to look, if the lions were still at the kill. As we got a detailed description where to find them it was not difficult, well there were several cars at the kill anyway so we just couldn’t drive past. Before we stopped at the Nsemani Dam and watched h ...

Re: Macro Photography

Mel, my family has to help all the time. They have to sit still, not blink or they have to spray coloured water in a bowl =O: We only have a dog, which doesn't like to be photograped, I tried several times to get her nose from the front, but I gave up!!! We went to a birds park nearby yesterday and ...

Re: Ups and downs in 2012

Thanks all for the feedback :-) Sorry, I was quite busy during the week, but I try my best to get the TR rolling. What would the park be without the beautiful impalas? I really like them and we always stop for them. http://i889.photobucket.com/albums/ac91/Kamadejo/SA2012/DSC_0113_DxO.jpg http://i889 ...

Re: Macro Photography

Thanks BC, I'm just trying things out and Macro photography is much fun.

For this pic I used a glas bowl and put a sheet of blue paper underneath, just to get some colours which makes the pic more interesting.

Re: Elephant Rescue in Amboseli

Read this on the Africa Geographic blog and thought it was so touching! Original Source: Amboseli Trust for Elephants The Kenya Wildlife Service and Amboseli Trust for Elephants rescued a five day old elephant calf back in November 2012 and the video is just too cute not to share. The five day old ...

Re: Ups and downs in 2012

So many lovely comments thanks O0 This episode is about cutie little hyenas. Gosh, we were so lucky again to find a den right next to the road to Shing O/\ and more over we had them most of the time on our own! What a pity we had to leave them after a while, as otherwise we would have been too late ...
