Re: Browns in Kruger October 2022
Just caught up on your report BC - you guys had some great sightings ^Q^ ^Q^ We’ve just returned from Kruger and I’ll be interested to hear how your trip goes later this year. For us the H4-1 felt very “different”. No major traffic jams as the regular cat sightings seemed to be missing. Maybe it was ...

Re: Dangerous Animal Incidents
Leopard and hyenas make for once-in-a-lifetime sighting in Satara The management of Kruger National Park assured overnight visitors of their safety, however, it is the responsibility of guests to stay in safe areas and avoid walking around at night. Some visitors to the Satara Rest Camp in the ...

Re: Kruger National Park Road Closures
I wonder how long it'll be to sort out some of the remaining road closures - particularly the H4-1. I think I read somewhere that they were investigating the possibility of a diversion route

Re: Finally KTP
We decided to leave the leopard sighting and do a trip to Monro and back in case her brother had appeared again. No such luck, so a few more shots of her as she started to venture further away from the road https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/pw/AMWts8AUVl_jEXDOrJv-rQD4T0kd96kdFKHlA_yDFJpNhC2j ...

Re: Finally KTP
For me it’s just easier to use the name rather than “that leopard which we first saw on day 2 by the tree” etc
Cats for me are also very unique - during the multiple sightings of her we got to see some of her traits that totally distinguish her from other leopards.

Re: Finally KTP
We spent the afternoon cooling off by the pool as always, but this time pondering on which direction we should take for our last drive. There was a definite chance of seeing leopard along the Auob, whilst the lions had been parking off above Rooiputs along the Nossob riverbed. After much discussion ...
