Re: Tuskers of Kruger Discussions & Identification

Hi all,
I am back from the 5 days stay in the northern Kruger but never saw a one decent elephant never mind the famous tuskers!! I traversed Mophonglo, Mooiplaas, Babalala and all places but nothing to be seen.
I wish better luck for aat.

Re: Tuskers of Kruger Discussions & Identification

Hi, Thank you Lisbeth & Richpins for the suggestions. I will stake out my luck around those areas. Aat, a very good suggestion so I went out and bought a EuroMillions ticket this weekend hoping for a big win which would help to stay in the park for a very long time with you looking for tuskers ...

Re: Tuskers of Kruger Discussions & Identification

Hi all, Thank you very much for the welcome. Of course, I was disappointed not see a tusker on my last visit. How come one would not be able come across a tusker on Mopolongo loop?? However, I was very surprised to see so many baby elephants around in herds despite the crippling drought in the park ...

Re: Tuskers of Kruger Discussions & Identification

Hello aat, Really nice to see your recent pictures of my old friend too: Mandzemba! I love the picture of him lumbering up the bank from the river. I can vividly remember him coming up just like that and cross the road and start to scratch his bottom on that post when I saw him last time! I was in ...
