I researchered the name, that's how that particular tripod is(not sure about other tripods) but that Tristar tripod only weights 2kg and can sustain 3kg of weight, so not very advisable for outside use according to YouTube :)

Hi I have found a tripod(TRISTAR) for 150 at a pawn shop.. It looks good. My only concern is the top part that screws the camera on, it's about 1.5cm long on the tripod and I'm not sure if that's fine. Does it have to be longer?
