Re: Lizard Identification

And this might be a Western Ground Agama (Agama aculeata aculeata) or a Northern Ground Agama (Agama aculeata distanti). Both are already in the AW reptile book, but I can't decide. The photo was taken near Otjiwarongo in Namibia in June. What do you think? DSC_0301 - Forum.JPG Somebody said it's a ...

Re: Lizard Identification

Thank you Klipspringer. :ty: I checked your list and I guess it's indeed a very young Kalahari Tree Skink (Trachylepis spilogaster). How long was it about? -O-
Thanks for the warm welcome and the first ideas. :ty:
It's hard to remember exactly but I guess between 1.0 and 1.5 inches - 30 to 40 mm if the metric system is common here. lol
And no worries, patience is one of my strengths.

Re: Insect or Invertebrates Identification

Good evening everybody, 0/* I've spotted this caterpillar at last year's Namibia holiday and would love to know what it exactly is. It was photographed in the Daan Viljoen Park near Windhoek in May. I've already checked uncountable caterpillar-photos in the net, but I couldn't find it. Maybe I've se...
