Okay I see your point. @iNdlovu, I thought that my list was the comfort/extended list. Bare bones list would be; Sleeping Bag, Biltong and... of cou...

Re: Recipes

One Packet Meal This recipe is an adaptation of one I found in a Off-Roading cookbook and works great on top of a braai or wood fire. It usually goes down a treat with everyone. Requires a bit of prep but once you start cooking it's a breeze. The ingredients are a suggestion and what I normally use...

Re: Canon vs Nikon

An informed opinion. Exactly what I was talking about earlier. Yet still an opinion. Each person is different and Mike shows how this can differ... Both seem to be fantastic cameras and unfortunately both out of my price range. To each their own. The D4 is a spectacular camera which most, including ...

Re: Canon vs Nikon

Sales figures really do not define which is a better camera, only which company has better brand marketing. Then you still need to take into a...

Aren't the cameras more a less in the same price bracket?
I know. That's the weird part. Goes to show that there's a lot of sheepish behaviour out there.

Re: Canon vs Nikon

My age old answer to this question is; "Both cameras are really good, but which one is being used on the ISS"?

And sales numbers don't count; "Toyota is one of the most sold brand of car, but wouldn't you rather have a Lamborghini"?
