Wow! the coastal shots bring back some fond memories. We did the journey from Crewe to Truro on our Honeymoon, all the coastal route, a bit warmer in August 1975 though!

Does anyone know the usage rate of the white elephant, sorry Conference Centre in Skukuza. One of the arguments for the hotel was that there is not enough accomodation in Skukuza to meet the demand.

We are staying in the BD2V perimeter huts, and it is mostly ok, but at R950 going up to R1090 next Nov. Who knows what the seasonal charge will mean. This used to be one of our favourite local reserves to visit. Are there no longer lions in the big lion enclosure?
