The Minister continue to talk about success against poaching, but when the real truth comes out it has quite another tune. You get the impression that nobody really care.

It is certainly comprehensive that Lionel Dyck is fed up not getting any help from the authorities and seeing the criminals avoid being arrested, when all the proves are there 0=

It is disheartening :-(

Posted on Facebook yesterday:
‎Trevor Barnett‎ to SANParks - Kruger National Park
14 hrs ·
Hi everyone. We're in Kruger for 7 days. We had some drama today. At about 10 - 30 this morning we came across 2 poachers sprinting across the road and into the bush with their guns on their backs. We obviously raced away not knowing what to expect as they looked heavily armed. This happened about 600m north of Shimangwaneni waterhole. We went back to the picnic spot a few Ks North. The gentleman running the picnic spot managed to get a call through to Telemati. I spoke to a ranger there explaining the details. He got through to Satara. The anti poaching unit was busy tracking them when we came back through the same spot at about 4 this afternoon. Apart from that Leapord Lion Cheetah Buffalo and Elephant today. Regards Trevor.

From 10:30 to 16:00 are quite a few hours and the poachers would certainly not be around there anymore. If they had dogs they might have had a chance -O-

What I mean is, that it took too long to get there, but i Suppose that they are not prepared for poachers in the middle of the day -O-

In a case like this, having telephone coverage all over, would speed things up.
