AW's Cheetah Family - Corinne & Cubs.......

I thought I would start this topic so we can have one place to follow the lives of the AW cheetah family that we, AW collectively, named. Whenever anyone has a sighting of them, or any news, please post here, (as well as wherever else (trip reports, etc) you choose to).

It will be fun to watch them as they split from Mom, have their own cubs, and watch the coalitions' paths, as well as Corinne's future cubs.

A brief recap: We voted in a poll on the names suggested by AW Forum members, all having to start with a "C", as their mom's name is Corinne. The winners were Carina and Cora for the females, and Casper and Chase for the males. Matthew has the license for the names, and they are now in his Cheetah Project Identification Guide.

I so hope that Corinne, and maybe even Hanri will take over from where Lisette and Elena left...
and become just as legendary cheetah mothers than their mother and aunt respectively.

Are we allowed to go into Corinne's childhood and pre-mom being with our photos, too?

We first encountered this family again 4 weeks into our trip, with only 5 days to go. I was SO wishing to see them, so this was one of the highlights of our visit.

The cubs all followed, chasing each other along the way.


They all appeared to be very healthy and lively, unlike Margie and Gus, unfortunately. Hope they are in better shape now
