KNP Museum/Stevenson Hamilton Library - Skukuza

Post by Richprins »

Was there a while ago, after a looong absence, and was struck by the interesting profusion of political history that now dominates the displays? :-?

These two chaps' portraits grace the entrance, maybe someone knows why the Zim President is there? -O-

Then quite an impressive set of statements, including a "disclaimer"...:

The "reading section" was under refurbishment, should be functional now! \O

Like Flutty, I am dying to know why Mugabe is there. Maybe to make up for Zuma's bad looks -O- =O:

Plenty of this is more about a political statement in my opinion. The fact that some of this content is up is a scary thought for the future as mindsets regarding Kruger’s history are obviously very different. O**

I visited the museum many times with my kids but even they aren’t interested in returning after 1 visit to this “new” museum as most of real interest has been removed. 0*\
