not sure how common this is but i found it rather interesting

on the H14 from the high water bridge

i found these lions digging in the river bed for water

perhaps they learned from the elephants

Isn't there quite a lot of water around? Why would they need to dig for it? :-?

i failed to mention that the photos of the digging lions

were taken at the beginning of october in 2015.......

not too much water around in that area then.......
