Mega Buffalo

Post by 100ponder »

Hi all,

To add more spice to this website I encourage you to post photos here of REALLY big buffalo - by that I mean buffalo with very wide horn spread.

A massive horn boss will make it better but as can be seen on the photo below, buffalo cows can also qualify should she have a adequately wide horn.

Let us set a minimum standard here, each horn must end/curve at least an ear's length beyond the ear. That means length A must be equal or greater than length B as marked on the photo below.

Let us keep to the African indigenous buffalo species/races for starters - the water buffalo is another story.

Entries can be from any-where - game farms, East Africa - all will be OK.

Even if it is a photo from the past in which case it will most likely be a photo of a mount or a hunter posing with a freshly hunted animal.
[ I know some of us will object to this, so let us hear your feelings on this.]

Gerrie.
