Hundreds of hopping froglets on a path next to a stream here in Nelspruit the other day...maybe 2-3cm!

Young froglets of grey foam-nest tree frogs (Chiromantis xerampelina) -O-

They continue to eat and grow until they reach full adulthood with a size of 5 cm.


That's my guess ..0..

Lisbeth, yours is also a juvenile, but a Raucous Toad Sclerophrys capensis

True, Lis and a juvenile toad looks not very toad-like. The warty skin develops only over time.
