the previous 8 sunrise selection photos were all taken around 6:30 on a july morning (uriah heep just came to mind )

it was quite surprising for us to see the sun rising, in july, directly across the river from the car park, 'cause we thought that was due north.....

the following few photos were also taken at about 6:30, but on a january morning.....

one can see how much further east the sun rises in summer.......

I love this drive. Gives you the feel of being all by yourself far away from civilisation.
