The primary purposes of this study are to:

* Identify the potential for geotourism development as a contributor to local social sustainability and a new market segment to tourism;
* Understand the factors that may influence and/or hinder geotourism development at the northern part of KNP; and
* Unearth how local communities could potentially benefit from geotourism development at the KNP.

Exposed fossils eventually weather away.
And one isn't allowed to collect fossils in SA unless you are connected to a university or museum.

So not sure where they are going with this???? -O-
