i do believe that the plan is not to have her working alone...

that is the impression that i got when i spoke to the receptionist in this regard.....

btw...

the receptionist also told me that as part of their training, they also did a basic course in sign language

to try and communicate with hearing impaired guests

who also venture out into the everyday world without fear of embarrassment

There is a hearing impaired cashier at butchery I go to, she has a card on till advising of her hearing impairment. Never seen or had an issue. -O- -O-
I cannot see it being an issue here either and any clients taking umbrage just shows the flaws in their own existence. If they are capable of providing the service then what is the problem?

I know plenty people I need to explain things to a few times before it sinks in, this would not be any worse than that. RP being a classic example on the braai night at Shingwedzi, when we had to explain and then 10 minutes later explain again. =O: =O: =O:

I must say I was impressed with the state of the dirt roads in the South of Kruger last weekend! The graders were out early after rains and did some serious work. Also there were virtually no road closures even with heavy rainfall. Well Done! X#X \O \O \O
