A motor vehicle accident has claimed the life of a SANParks employee.
One person has died in a motor vehicle accident in the Kruger National Park.
The accident occurred this afternoon, 25th of August, between Mopani and Shingwedzi Camp, however details as to the cause of the accident are still not available. This is a developing story.
SANParks Spokesperson, Isaac Phaahla, has confirmed the accident to Bulletin.
“We can confirm the accident and that it involved a staff member. Details are still sketchy, and the SAPS have taken over the investigation into the circumstances that led to the accident,” stated Phaahla.
Phaahla couldn’t share the name of the deceased as it “Would be insensitive to name the individual before their next of kin have been notified”.
