Hi there Greenville 0/*

Thanks Sprocky for all the pics, so lucky to have this hide at your backyard \O

Any Greenies that have recently spend a night at this hide? We are about 6 clowns that are scheduled in July to spend a night there, apart from the cold and leopard that we will see and pride of lions O** (wishfull thinking) what else can we expect, any tips?

Hi All, we stayed there once and it was a quiet night but a wonderful experience. We got a hyena come close to the hide and let out that hyena cry which had me almost falling out of the bed O-/

At Phalaborwa Gate you can hire a light, bedding and a braai grid for the night but we only took the lantern (R50 deposit) as we had our sleeping bags and a grid.

Sprocky has posted pictures \O Here is one with the beds unlocked

Great pic - Can't wait for my visit O\/ O\/ O\/

I am not sure what the reason is, but Sable Hide was closed yesterday morning when I went there. I haven't had a chance yet to find out why it is closed, but i will post a pic later this evening.

Just found out that Sable Hide is closed for renovations, but I don't recall this being advertised any where. The first news you get of it being closed is the barricading tape across the entire front area of the hide.

Maybe it's to fix the matresses? --00--

This is what met me at the hide yesterday...

They can't give me an answer as to when it will open to the public again. 0*\ We will be staying there (hopefully) on the 17th of December. Let's see what happens. O**

Surely they should put up a sign with some sort of explanation? 0-
