What happened to your philosophy of taking it easy in the park? Now you want to shoot people who take a bit long at a crossroads?

Aha... and now you'll be telling me that watching rugby at the dam was of course also a part of this project
God put me on earth to accomplish a certain amount of things. Right now I'm so far behind that I'll never die.

Re: Groundhog Day: Pretoriuskop Over and Over Winter 2018
A few weeks later the Great Day Of The Official Waterhole Project arrived!
viewtopic.php?f=263&t=8501
Gump was the only assistant available, and Pretoriuskop was the only accommodation available!
I had no choice but to throw the months of debate and voting we had done out of the window, and follow Gump's choice of waterhole ingratiatingly.
And I had to drive to Numbi MYSELF!
We were set to meet at the camp at 7, I think, and I was not wasting time and did the trip from Nellies in about 40 mins. Gump made me go even faster by constantly phoning and asking where I was, and moaning that he was driving around Pretoriuskop. (He pretended that he thought I was at my accommodation already... )
After a quick hug we moved important equipment from the Silver Suppository to his old bakkie, and off we went!
At Shilhave the animals were dutifully drinking away...I still can't understand why there is no cellphone signal there.
So we had to leave and find a waterpoint with cellphone!
A bit further down the H1-1, an unexpected delay!

For a change the sighting was on my side....
But straight into the sun!
Coooeeee! Broken horn shame!
Then a jeep jockey told us about a nice sighting on the Napi dirt road! More delay!
What could it be?
Back to normal, the sighting was on Gump's side, so I took scenery shots. It was VERY dry, and burnt!
