Day 9 Sunday 18 November : Satara -> Crocodile Bridge.
We eventually got to Croc and after checking in and setting up camp, we went for a drive up the S28.
But we didn't get far; a traffic jam about a kilometre from the camp revealed our next culinary delight.
At the Gezantombi bridge, a Squacco Heron.
Another Newbie.
Elephant sunset.
And rounding off the day, a different kind of newbie.

It was a wonderful sighting, about 5 metres from the road. There was much growling and snarling interspersed with loud crunching noises.Flutterby wrote:There must have been lots of crunching at that sighting!
