Day 2 continued.
The afternoon drive started with a visit to Mopane Camp where I found some more interesting stuff in the flower bed.
Some more Dragonflies.
A Beetle.
Then, a bit of a surprise as this suddenly appeared about half a metre away! A Western Stripe-bellied Sand Snake.
A panorama of one of the best views in the Park.
We repeated our drive from the day before wit better luck this time.
At Mooiplaas Waterhole Kaleka was off to the left as we approached.
He then joined Marhumbini (who'd moved quite a distance from Tsendze the previous day)
And Ngodzi (I think)
For a group photo!
The Three Amigos!
There were some other Eles around too.
The remainder of our drive netted the first of many, many Burchell's Coucals.
A Sabota Lark.
Some photogenic Zebs.
And a very nice sunset.

Thanks Harry & Lis.
I guess I should send them to Aat for confirmation; I hope the excitement isn't too much for him

Delightful dragon flies and magnificent big tuckers.

Don't tell me you weren't quivering at seeing those three together, Dragonflyboy?

I'm so glad they are serving meals on that balcony again, I think the view rivals the one from the Olifants restaurant!nan wrote:love the three amigos, Dragonflies, Sand Snake

I also like the snake!
It was quite a sighting and I couldn't believe it when they all stood in a rowRichprins wrote:Don't tell me you weren't quivering at seeing those three together, Dragonflyboy?
