Sable



Two minute drive from Numbi gate H1-1 there are still Sable in Pretoriuskop area. This beautiful Sable Bull was on a mission to the newly sprouted grass in the burnt area south of the road towards Fayi loop S8

Grey Rhebuck



This Grey Rhebuck was on the Pretoriuskop loop roads but had an injured left front leg. It was alone and close to water.

We would would like someones input whether this is indeed a Grey Rebuck Ram???

Pretoriuskop buffalo



This medium sized herd herd of buffalo had already discovered the newly sprouted grass.

Transportdam Crocodile



A big Croc at Transportdam whiling in sun while wildebeests tried drinking.....hope to see this guy taking one someday.

Lioness/she was part of the party on the H4-1



Male/He was also at the same party but very upset because the vultures start claiming their share.

Cheetah.On the S 28 ,with the sun behind it ( )the cheetah was searching for prey/something to hunt but after whe left we found the first small game3km further,that meant that if we follow it ,we would have arived at the gate about 20h00

Dup , nice pics , great sightings for short " flying " visit " .

Just one further comment - your sighting of " grey rhebok " ( Afrikaans - Vaal Ribbok ) , is actually a " reedbuck" ( Afrikaans - Rietbok )
Both species quite rare , and certainly a special sighting
