Highs and Lows during a day trip over a long weekend

The morning of 29th April 2012 began with the highlight of the trip Brownheaded Parrot on the S65 (definitively a High)









On the H1-1...a first for us..Gymnogene (Kaalwangvalk) Displaying red (pic's a bit blurry but had to share another high)


another motorist stopped us for chit chat and told us about the cheetah sighting on the H3...little did we know




a definite LOW

saw this lizard ID? on the S26



on the H4-2 saw this Giraffe bull very dark


after a quick stop at Lower Sabie taking the S28 this Kori Bustard was in no hurry..a high




exit at Croc Brigdge we hit a all day low at Gasanftombi







unfortunately we had to end on this...very low note...how fast did this bloke drive to hit a Genetta

Well done on the first two bird sightings.

Your lizard looks like a Giant Plated Lizard.
