Kruger is calling......*

So just 3 more sleeps and I will be on my way to the best place in the world O:V O/\

This trip was planned in 10 mins and I booked accomadation at Lower Sabie and then asked my wife if I can go...... O** :-0 ^0^

First night I will stay at Buffalo hotel in Hectorspruit and will meet up with RP after a drive to Malelane and Afsaal O/\

Then 5 nights at Lower Sabie in Bookworm's tent :-)

Harry didn't see all that much...turns out we were driving behind him on the Numbi road, after looking at the travel advisory pics! lol

We didn't know which vehicles we were in, or how to recognise each other at Afsaal, so typical AW organising! =O:

Hi there, I'm at Pretoriuskop now, got some signal on my phone :-0
Quiet day today, saw 2 male Lions near Nkulu.

Looks like I will be going home tomorrow, me a tent and a stretcher not a good combination :O^ I will go up to Satara and Orpen and leave through Orpen gate.

Not having very good luck with Leopards this trip, keep on missing them by minutes, missed a Leopard at Lake Panic by 15 mins 0*\

Finally, Goldenboy and I found Harry lying in the toilet at Afsaal sobbing, and dragged him out! =O:

Some marmite buns as a starter, and then pregos! What more can one ask for? ^Q^


Very low-maintenance for a bachelor get-together....meat on skottel, slice tomatoes with plastic knife found in basket, and buns! O/\

You can see the caps, Alf...my old blue one now discarded on the table! Excellent, and a good delivery! Thanks, Harry and Alf!





The Prego steaks leave a bit of a mess on the skottel, but cleaners at hand! :yes:

The thing about the buffalo head is, as said earlier, you have to stand on the counter and kiss the snout. Then you get a certificate...

In my youth, the setup was far more difficult, and almost impossible, and you got free drink upon accomplishing the feat! X#X

Anyway, now you must kiss the top of the nose for girls, and the mouth for men...far more difficult, and slightly unnerving! O-/

I got the girl one easily! And sort of busy with the second one, when GB intervened... 0*\

Let's start the real Tr O**

15 June - Day 1

I left Boksburg at 6:30 Monday 15 June planning to enter at Numbi gate and exiting at Malelane to overnight at Baffalo hotel in Hectorspruit.

I arrived at Numbi gate at 11:30 and sighned in and entered the best place on earth O/\ O/\

Sightings was not that good but I was in Kruger and that's what mattered O:V
