Thanks very much R.P. and Flutterby.

I have just looked through all the photos that Joan and I took, some 800 odd,and have arrived at 291 photos that I would like to post here. Will have to convert them all first.

Hope you do not mind but it looks like it is going to be a mighty long travel tale. Some interesting stories to tell as well.

31 May 2018.

Left home bright and early and just in time to catch all the mist around Witbank and then once the mist started lifting riding directly into the sun near Middelburg. O/\

Near Machadadorp the mist was clearing and the sun high enough not to worry us gain.

Why is it that I always take the wrong turn off to by pass Nelspruit. This morning I ended up in the centre of Nelspruit.

Arrived at Malalane gate at 10:45. Time to switch off the radio, undo the seat belt and relax.

A few pics while travelling the H3 and H2-2 to Pretorius Kop.

A warthog telling some ellies to get off his turf.

Another L.B.R. with plenty more to come. Such a photogenic bird.

Could be A Gabar Goshawk?

I must say that Pretorius Kop really impressed us. The hut was in amazing condition and very spacious. Looking back at all the other camps we stayed at this one was the best accommodation by far.

Spent the rest of the afternoon in camp with me having an afternoon sleep after the long drive down.

To be continued.
