The Garmin was whirring now and we had to leave for camp...we were in VERY good spirits (at least I was, as leachy refuses to have tea until he is in camp, so is perpetually angry during the day. O-/ )
i think bushcraft's travel tale has made a marked impression on richwit........

there is no garmin in my vehicle............ O** O** O**

i am never angry while i am with any of my other friends.......

O** O**

:ty: :ty: :ty:

At last we hit camp and leachwit hit the tea big time! Here he is sleeping a bit and waiting for the lunar eclipse which was that night! ^Q^ O\/

(He has his headlights on so that he can see the moon when it is dark! ..0.. )

And I began to take some pics! [O]

Leachy was also REALLY enjoying this as he leads a mildly troglodytic existence and hates any lights shining at night when in the Park - so this would be the ultimate "Turn off that f$%^ing light!" =O: =O: =O:

Here is the moon:

q1.jpg

I forget which planet it was that came in front of the moon - Venus I think? Here comes Venus from the right, a bit erratically... O-/

Here is Venus almost totally in front of the moon, but they are still both making light! \O

q3.jpg

Then suddenly Mars,I think, came in from the right as well, at one MOER of a speed!

q4.jpg

So then it was all dark! O-/

q5.jpg

It took only a few minutes, then Venus started moving off away to the right again, and that was basically it? -O-

The next morning I was awoken by the freshly and earlily-arrived Dwarf, which is not a particularly pleasant thing, but there we are! \O

So he and I went on a day drive while leachy went to a meeting or somesuch grownup stuff! O/\

It was certainly not going to be a cloudy day, to put it mildly... O-/

We were to travel almost all 198 km of the S3!

Up to the Mighty Sabie River (we were traveling in Dwarf's 2017 vehicle, the Ochre Samoosa)

I suppose one should really have at least one animal in an installment? ..0..
