3 Weeks of Sheer Bliss at Tsendze Sept 2018

Over the decades I have my favorite accommodation Spots like Hut 51 Mopani, Rentmeester Guesthouse Shingwedzi, Safari Tent 5 at Punda Maria, Hut no 9 Croc Bridge, Hut no 6 at Balule , Tent 22 at Tamboti, Unit 12 at Orpen and unit 7 at Sirheni Bush Camp but the all time best spot to stay is definitely Stand 14 at Tsendze ..All on your own and you feel unfenced as you are 20 metres from the east fence down a remote path . Shame that little Bushbuck 'Joshua' our constant companion for our long stay in September was hung up a tree one night in Nov by Mrs Spots doing her rounds in the dead of night..This needs a click for the evening colours ..Its a bit bright as I took it at 13 secs shutter speed on a tripod but should have been 11-12 secs..'Josh' watching Jane doing supper in the kitchen

Yes its quite a walk to the bathroom which has Solar lights that sometimes dont work at night if the previous day was cloudy ..Head Torches are the most important thing to take there

Hi Peter, are you saying that Joshua was taken by a leopard inside Tsendze. We were there in November and thoroughly enjoyed his company

I seem to remember reading a post from Rodger quite recently that Joshua had been seen in the bush close to Tsendze.
