Nothing like camping at Rooiputs and having the 6 campsites empty the previous night apart from Jane & I at No 3 ..This is what greeted me at the road at the bottom of the camp at sunrise ..The Twee Rivieren hordes were still 30 mins Plus away ..All to myself ..Love that camp to bits ..Roll on April for our SHORT 10 day stay there this year

My personal Car Guard..No tips asked for but all that I required is that she pose nicely . A distant dust storm made the blue sky reddish ..Shows up better after a click

Start to finish, these are beautifully captured shots - but I've come to expect no less from you, Young Man.
Thanks for the visual poetry.

Craig Lockhart near Mata Mata also had a great pride..Here a pristine lioness posed for me while the rest slept in the shade 50 metres away

We are going with Bush Experienced friends from JHB in April but they havent been to Kgalagadi yet ..so I have been introducing them to the staff at this Rooiputs Camp...Meet the Braai Cleaner who does his work in the Wee Hours of the night ..He is full of Gemsbok here in the river bed below camp taken 30 secs before sunlight flooded the valley floor ..no shadows as a result
