nan
Glad to hear that you are at least a bit better!
Unfortunately, I won't have too much to tell from your favourite place on earth because it was VERY quiet
on this last trip. The park is in some parts in dire need of rain. Parts of the Auoub and also the Nossob are
completely barren with not even a single gras stick on it. Other parts are alright, but due to the drought
the antelopes have moved off and with them the lions. We actually saw two starving ones - both still rather
youngish and probably not able to fend for themselves yet - at least not under the given conditions.
All the guys in the camps asked where nan is and told me to send their regards to you

God put me on earth to accomplish a certain amount of things. Right now I'm so far behind that I'll never die.

Re: Two "nanas" (girls) in the Kgalagadi
There was a huge thunderstorm with plenty of rain at Bitterpan and around on our last night (19th)
But the south didn't get any of it. We just had the wind and the far away lighting at Kieliekrankie.
I don't have a contact number for Jacques... sorry.

Hellooo Nan
Just spent a good while catching up on this TR. :) Oh wow so many awesome things to catch up on. :) Likewise Mel we had a quiet trip to the park in April/May ...:( but I did see the Bokmakieire at Kielie Krankie BUT I Failed to get a photo of it Nan...so you have one up on me. :)
I did however very bravely get a photo of that bottle of Jagermeister that tends to visit the KTP....
Oh and Liz ..about locking yourself in the bathroom...I have done that as well a few years back . Luckily Doug was there to get me out ..but he thought I was avoiding helping him pack up and not only that I managed to lock myself in selfsame bathroom a second time It's best to leave his comments on my actions off this Forum....
I hoping those oxygen cylinders will help you to add to this TR...Nan.....
